Chez Hugon est une institution locale : un vrai bouchon lyonnais !
Si la terrasse n'a pas vraiment d'intérêt, c'est à l'intérieur que se situe la vraie ambiance : nappe à carreau, décor suranné, service énergique et un mélange de touristes et d'habitués.
On vient pour des recettes typiques et on est pas déçu !
Délicieuses tripes à la lyonnaise, spectaculaire quenelle, succulent gâteau de foie, et surtout la supra-délicieuse tarte aux pralines !
Le tout avec un verre de vin, sans chichi et à prix correct.
Allez-y les yeux fermés

Very nice surprise for this cap chosen at random!!!
Authentic setting which offers cuisine from yesteryear with a touch of modernity. A welcome “like at home” accompanies us with gentleness and attention.

N'en déplaise aux vieux grincheux qui regrettent l'époque de la dynastie Hugon, Paola et Fatima méritent des applaudissements. Non seulement, c'est excellent dans le classicisme lyonnais un peu dépoussiéré : sublime tête de veau et sa gribiche tout en velouté, jambon persillé plein de saveurs, quenelles aériennes et sauce exquise... Bref, un bien beau moment de convivialité et de sourires car Paola ne manque vraiment pas d'humour. Stéphane Stéphane vous remercie toutes les deux pour cet excellent moment en votre compagnie :)

I loved this Bouchon, very authentic with a good atmosphere, we had a good time with friends. The dishes are hearty and delicious. We ate the dumplings and the brioche sausage, so good! The praline tart is a treat.

Wanting a little stopover with the family, our choice fell on Hugon, which I didn't know. It was a good thing for us: whether it was the location, the welcome, the atmosphere and the food, everything was perfect 🤩😋 and like any real stopper, the toilets are in the backyard of a building outside the restaurant 😉
Be careful, the room is very small, so I advise you to book!

The Bouchon Hugon was a chance find, luckily we got a place for 2. The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. - make a reservation urgently. We arrived in a good mood and left happy. Everything was just right - the classic, simple atmosphere, the great young woman who was incredibly competent, efficient and very NICE, the service and of course the very tasty, authentic dishes. The 3-course menu with 6-8 choices per course cost 32 euros, completely reasonable. We found the wine expensive - glass from €6, 1/4 from €11. Be that as it may - it's definitely worth it. Absolute recommendation!
