A wonderful evening at Chez Madeleine! The service was first-class – attentive, warm, and absolutely professional. The oysters deserve special mention: fresh, perfectly prepared, and a true culinary highlight. Everything else was simply fantastic – from the atmosphere to the food, everything was just right. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

We had lunch at Madeleine's last Tuesday; oysters, whelks, etc. It was very pleasant, a lovely little terrace in Place aux Herbes, excellent seafood, and impeccable service. I highly recommend this place in old Saint-Tropez.

A gem! Not knowing what to do the night before New Year's Eve, we ordered some seafood. Even though our order wasn't very large, they were incredibly friendly—and this in a packed bar! The sea urchins were opened, well-cleaned, and presented on a takeaway tray. They were delicious and very reasonably priced. I'm thrilled and will be back often!

Le Sporting

08/06/2026: The "Sporting" is ideally located. I hope this review helps the manager find a solution to the clattering of plates for customers at the back of the room. The dumbwaiter and the bar's crockery during lunch make conversation impossible. The upstairs toilets don't close properly, and a huge 7cm hole in the door, plugged with toilet paper, is not worthy of Saint-Tropez. (If this is done to prevent customers from coming to take illegal substances, then it's very well thought out and shouldn't be changed). Customers smoking on the enclosed terrace can disturb the entire dining room depending on the wind direction. But after these observations, which could be addressed 24 hours before the season by an attentive manager, the food was a real surprise with prices that aren't just for the wealthy. I insist that the food is the highlight: experience the chef's vision, and it's rare to see this emphasized. The staff is friendly. So yes, I recommend it, but not if you're sitting at the back of the room. (Tip for the waitress or waitress: don't use your fingers to put the small tomatoes that fall off the plate back in.) … One last thing, if you offered a simple, locally produced champagne at a price that would still be profitable for you, I assure you that you would have a significant turnover. Looking forward to seeing you again.
