Passing by on a rainy autumn day, on motorbikes, 4 guys in need of a little warmth and a hot meal. Welcome in the traditional spirit of the area, here we welcome not the tourist but the traveler, and that's so much the better. The hello is modest, but genuine. A local sips a myrtle in front of the newspaper and looks at us with the suggestive questioning of Corsicans. We are placed at the table and the boss relaxes a little. pietra of use, orezza. We will be served veal in beer, wild boar, soup and cannelloni with bruccio, absolutely wonderful dishes where the smiles gradually reveal themselves, the humor of the boss can be tasted at the rhythm of the meal, if you are modest, simple and honest, you will deserve the homemade digestive with the little chestnut flan. The Hunters' Bar is worth it, it's not a restaurant for the first comer, it's a place steeped in history and authenticity. The service will be based on your ability to live with the locals

On the recommendation of a Corsican friend, we discovered this unusual accommodation...what can I say...everything is authentic and exceptional...excellent cuisine...very warm welcome and if you want to be in an authentic village, nothing is too much trouble. better...accommodation like dormitory colonies or rooms. It brings back good memories...we really recommend it if you want to stop for one or a few days.... Thanks to the owners

I don't really understand the reviews that praise this inn... The welcome was OK, just what was needed, nothing more (apart from the waitress, very friendly!). Mr did not move from the TV while Madame was busy, the cooking was not appreciated at its true value, good soup but spaghetti and very fatty meat, then a small simple fruit salad. Positive points, it's local and that's great. But at 27th for the meal and breakfast, well... We are almost on Parisian prices, despite the reasonable price per night. Another positive point, the toilets are clean. In short, I won't go back, or just for one night and without half board. This does not represent Corsica which generally has a sense of welcome. Or they were tired, and at the end of the season that's understandable.

Very nice surprise! Warm welcome, the waitress takes great care, traditional Corsican cuisine, generous, very pleasant time with a magnificent view. Bravo for the authenticity, we had a blast!

We came to taste Corsican specialties, unfortunately the chef was not there and the kitchen was closed. We would have preferred to be informed at the time of booking. The menu was very limited and our dishes were reheated in the microwave which we could hear ringing from the room. Avoid in the off season. However, the setting is magnificent.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung hierher und haben gut gegessen. Der Blick auf Ota und die umliegenden Berge ist sehr schön. Der Service war anfangs erwas zurückhaltend, taute dann aber auf. Der Weg von Porto hier hoch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Wir assen Terrine au Figatellu, Canneloni au Brocciu und Soupe Paysanne. Zum Dessert hatten wir Käse. Als wir bezahlten (an der Bar), bekamen wir noch einen Myrtenschnaps. Dieser war derart lecker, dass wir gleich eine Flasche kauften.

Très très agréable..parfait ..nous avons apprécié le repas et le petit déjeuner..prix attractif nous avons passé une nuit en dortoir..vraiment rien à redire..

Dîner en terrasse au clair de lune ,magique, il faisait un peu frisquet mais on n'a pas du sang de poisson !, Terrines ,cannelloni au brocciu,civet de sanglier un régal,patrons super sympas ,on reviendra en corse juste pour venir manger chez vous promis !
