We ate there last night after a strenuous hike to Cap Rosso before heading back to Sagone where we're staying for the holidays, and it was a lovely surprise. The restaurant was recommended by Hervé, a local, and he was absolutely right because everything is perfect, right down to the people who run the place. 5 stars! Rated by the little family from Marseille with the young boy with long blond hair 😊😊

After almost 10 years of traveling to Corsica, I can finally say it: I've never eaten so well on the island. This restaurant goes straight into my top 3 of the best Corsican restaurants I've ever discovered… and probably even at the very top. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by passionate people in an absolutely magnificent setting: a superb, calm, and relaxing terrace with an atmosphere that makes you want to take your time and fully enjoy the moment. But the most impressive thing is undoubtedly the food. Here, they clearly don't know the meaning of the word "small portion": the dishes are incredibly generous. We came as a family, and some of us had to call it quits before finishing because the portions were so large (and yet, we weren't there to hold back!). Beyond the quantity, the quality is exceptional. The wild boar meat was probably some of the best I've ever tasted: incredibly tender, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. I also had the pleasure of trying the kid goat, which was simply exceptional. I'd never tasted anything so good. Again, generosity and quality were both evident. The brocciu specialties, especially the cannelloni, were also excellent. And the homemade desserts… a true triumph, hard to forget! What makes the experience even more wonderful is the transparency and authenticity of the place: local products, short supply chains, well-known producers, explanations about the origin of the meats… You know what you're eating and where it comes from. It's traditional cuisine made with passion, respect, and a lot of heart. A huge thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, the kindness, and this cuisine that does Corsica proud. This is actually the first time I've taken the time to leave a Google review… and that's perhaps the restaurant's only flaw: you wish you could leave a review every time you go, because one visit isn't enough to do the experience justice. One thing is for sure: on every future trip to Corsica, this place will be a must. I'll definitely be back! Thank you and see you soon!!
