Chez Marinette sur Trouville-Sur-Mer

I was on holiday alone in the region, this restaurant was recommended to me and I wasn't disappointed, it was truly excellent.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and received friendly, professional service throughout our visit. There were plenty of staff, so we were never left waiting, and the owner was very hands-on — taking orders, checking on guests and happily helping with recommendations. The menu is very reasonably priced, and the food was excellent. We ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce and mashed potatoes, as well as the mussels in a creamy sauce served with fries. Everything was delicious — we finished every bite, and we noticed that all the tables around us did the same! The crème brûlée is also highly recommended — definitely worth saving room for. The waiting staff also speak English, which was very helpful. There is a car park directly opposite the restaurant, making it very convenient. Overall, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. The atmosphere has a lovely family feel, while the service remains professional, and most importantly, the food is fantastic. We can definitely see why they have so many great reviews. A thoroughly enjoyable meal and somewhere we would happily return to!

We made a quick stop at La Marinette restaurant during our weekend in Trouville. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and enjoyed a delicious lunch. I chose the hanger steak with fries, which was absolutely divine, not to mention the chocolate mousse for dessert – a real treat! The staff were also excellent. We highly recommend it.
