Beautiful setting, great team, and delicious food; La Régence is a favorite of ours, we stop by every time we're on the Normandy coast. I highly recommend it (remember to book in advance).

2021: The best seafood platter in the region. Update 2025: A must-try before it closes at the end of the year! Update 2026: Still open, much to our delight; the family atmosphere is wonderful, the patience, kindness, and generosity are incredible in this establishment, and the food is still fabulously good in a wonderful setting. It's worth noting the very slight price increase in recent years, which is rare. Remember to book early as seating is limited. Living in the Paris region, we now come to Trouville 3 or 4 times a year just for this restaurant.

Pure flavor and delicacy! I opted for an exceptional lunch: the lobster menu. To start, the smoked salmon on a warm blini with a creamy sauce was a delight. For the main course, the lobster flambéed with cognac completely captivated my taste buds, all accompanied by impeccable and very cordial service... in short, over an hour and a half of pure pleasure. I was fortunate enough to return a few days later for a more "ordinary" menu... if one can even use that term in a restaurant where everything is perfect. I chose an exceptional foie gras, currently on special offer on the entry-level menu, followed by scallops with a porcini mushroom cream sauce that were simply divine. Here, there's no ceremonial, even obsequious service; everything is on the plate, and the service is efficient and friendly. Thank you for these magical moments, and see you very soon!
