Si vous voulez être plus qu’un simple petit client, accueilli, écouté sans vous sentir envahi en dégustant des plats faits avec savoir faire, du goût de la qualité ! C’est la qu’il faut aller!!!

9 of us came without reservation, the welcome was pleasant by an equally pleasant young lady. Afterwards the service was fast and pleasant, always in a good mood. The gravelax salmon for my part was very good (a bit too much cream) but very good. The beef steak was very tender and rare as I like it, just the 3 cheese sauce did not add the flavor I was hoping for (not strong enough) Finally, to finish in style, a tiramisu nutella cookie, very good but a little light for €8 A very good meal overall, a very good atmosphere (with Johnny in the background 🎤) I recommend ☺️

16/08/2024: Interesting menu, very friendly welcome, original cellar setting...but this is a cellar, it's very noisy... And the original menu doesn't taste good...it lacked a lot of flavor...the tuna like the beef had no taste...the saltiness is in the bill.
15/08/2024: Expected more given the stellar reviews and the price point, but the flavours were mostly plain and the portion sizes for the entrée and dessert were a bit too big. If eating as 2, I'd recommend sharing an entrée and dessert. Zucchini fritter - yummy starter, well seasoned House bread - Quite sad, not soft, not textured, little flavour. Felt like grocery store bread Foie gras crème brûlée (entrée) - honestly big enough for two. Flavour was nice, though it got a bit boring after a while. Also served with too few toasts for its size. Dos de cabillaud (plat) - cod was nice and delicate but overall the dish had too simple of a flavour. Also not very visually appealing as everything is just buried in sauce Sphère chocolat lactée, ananas, noix de coco et citron (dessert) - house special dessert that day. Probably my favourite course, lots of interesting complementary flavours. But again, so much food, could've been split between two people (the ball is filled entirely with the citron cream)

Grand Hotel Negre Coste

04/09/2024: I did not stay in this hotel but was very pleasantly informed by the hostess Margot who helped me find my way to the Cour Mirabeau! Really happy to have come across this type of professional person!
