While in Rennes, I'm returning to this restaurant, which I've been to many times... I'm taking some colleagues there... a few years have passed... the food is still good (despite a salad called "Octopus Salad," which is actually more of a salad WITH octopus) and made on-site... Phew! But what's going on in the dining room (service) and in the atmosphere (reception)? I hope it was an "off" day... a bit disappointed for my guests.

Superb little restaurant, we eat simple, authentic but very well prepared cuisine! An artichoke vinaigrette as a simple but great starter, the duck fillet is incredible, the mille-feuille terrifically good! The wine list is perfect too! I recommend it 100%!

Chez Paul offers generous and authentic cuisine. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere friendly. The wine list is extensive and prices reasonable. A must-visit for lovers of fine French cuisine. The owner is friendly.

Excellent welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. We chose semi-cooked tuna with vegetables and a beef fillet with potatoes. A mille-feuille to finish. Everything was delicious. If you like good wine, you won't be disappointed either. A very good place!

Very good restaurant. The welcome from the young woman was friendly, simple and smiling. Throughout the service, she always had a word of attention. The dinner, for us main course and dessert, was very good, the piece of beef cooked as requested, the accompaniment of sautéed potatoes perfect because they melted in the mouth; the semi-cooked tuna with its small vegetables served to my guest was delicious because it was also the result of excellent cooking. The recommendations for wines, possibly served by the glass, our choice, were good. The mille-feuille finished with its sweetness, the crunchiness of its leaves and the melting of its cream this simple but succulent meal.
