You arrive and it says "pizzeria bar" with a flashing light sign saying "restaurant." At first glance, it's not very appealing, but... you have to go. We received a warm welcome and had a wonderful meal. Simple, hearty, but satisfying. Excellent value for money. Thank you for your professionalism.

Very pleasant surprise, quality and very tasty dishes. A varied selection. Two vegetarian options when we went there. The room is quite small, you have to remember to book because it was crowded (on a Saturday evening)

The food is excellent. As other guests have mentioned, you do have to wait a bit, but we weren't disappointed. The burgers and pizzas are excellent (the kids loved it), and the wine is also superb.

Excellent, fresh and generous cuisine. Very good value for money. Very good Pinot Noir from Epineuil. Efficient service. The owner is a bit grumpy but not mean at all. I recommend it.

09/11/2025: Despite a minor issue with the online reservation due to the establishment being closed for holidays, the owner quickly found a solution. It's generally recommended to book by phone. A very warm welcome awaits you at this family-run business, now in its fifth generation; you can feel the dedication of every staff member. The restaurant is fantastic, with a super friendly waitress who provided helpful explanations about the local area and knew her dishes and wines well. The crispy andouillette sausage was excellent, featuring local products. A nice bonus is the gas station right across the street. Thank you for your warm welcome and your quick response in finding a solution!
29/10/2025: We stayed at La Cardusia for the first time earlier this month on our way to Spain and it was a wonderful discovery! We will definitely go back next time we pass through France. The room was very comfortable and the beds were so good that, along with the total peace and quiet, we overslept the next morning for the first time in ages. We had a great meal at the restaurant the night before and we were very happy with both the price there and of the room. But the best bit was meeting Frederic. We all know that the style, attitude and friendliness of the staff can make all the other things about your stay even better and that was absolutely true here. We have never had such a warm welcome at any hotel in France as we got here from Frederic. His English is superb to the point that he made us laugh with his sense of humour and his ability to communicate that to non French speakers. The following morning after getting good local advice from Frederic, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend. This hotel is a brilliant example of the best of Logis hotels and we can’t wait to stay there again.
