What a find! While randomly searching for a small, family-run restaurant with good food… we were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation and find ourselves inside (despite the sweltering heat), facing the chefs. The organization was perfect, and the management of the 50 covers was incredibly professional. In short, the originality of the dishes, their quality, and the impeccable service left us feeling like we'd discovered a hidden gem! We highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return as soon as possible. Thank you to the entire team.

What a treat!… A feast for the senses, for the palate, with such genuine, simple, and friendly kindness! It's absolutely delicious! So expertly prepared ☺️ Delicious wines to taste, all at affordable prices. We went for lunch. They would allow getting one menu and something else a la carte. The food was truly fantastic. We would have visited it again had we stayed longer in Rennes.

A small, friendly restaurant offering a great experience in the heart of Rennes! For a reasonable price, you'll be hard-pressed to find better. The food is very appetizing, and the counter seating is quite a show, haha ​​:) Highly recommended!

Domino's Rennes - Centre, France

20/10/2026: Les Portes Mordelaises is the name given to this ancient 15th-century fortified gate and its twin towers. They are very well preserved and make a striking impression upon arrival, as if you've stepped back in time to the city's medieval era. Furthermore, their historical significance is noteworthy, since the Dukes of Brittany traditionally entered through this fortified gate to be crowned in the cathedral. It's a worthwhile stop for the surrounding area and the imposing defensive architecture, although the monument itself can be explored very quickly, serving more as an essential photo opportunity within Rennes' old town than a place to linger.
21/09/2026: A very nice place and a cute little street, it's one of the streets to see in Rennes.
