The most authentic experience, without being kitschy! Excellent Alsatian cuisine and local wines, in a calm, family atmosphere (the restaurant seats about twenty). A must-try!

What a discovery! If I could, I would have given it an unlimited number of stars. Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 But above all, the icing on the cake: absolutely fantastic waitresses! As authentic as the place itself. Waitresses 100/10!!!!

A very nice little restaurant, if you can manage to open the peculiar old door with the broken knob. 😂 If you jiggle it long enough, a very friendly employee will eventually open it. The dining room is small but very nicely decorated in an old, rustic style. The food is good, but it's just a touch short of being excellent. Unfortunately, due to the old building, the ventilation could be improved when it's full (and it's pleasantly small anyway). But yes, it's definitely worth a visit.

06/05/2026: We had the best time at this restaurant. Our favourite meal on our entire trip, in fact! It’s a little outside the main tourist area, so the food is a lot more authentic. The portions were generous, and you can tell the ingredients they use are super fresh. Highly recommend their salmon, and a crème brûlée for dessert. We were also able to have a lovely conversation with the kind waiter. While we dined, there was a regular customer there, which makes it an even better sign. Highly recommend this hidden gem when visiting Strasbourg!
05/05/2026: A restaurant I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Finally, a restaurant that truly represents its region. No more tourist traps; you're in for a treat. From start to finish, everything is perfectly balanced and harmonious, without being over the top. We spent €82 for two: aperitif, main courses, and desserts. In short, go there; it's THE restaurant to try in Strasbourg.
