I know the owner of the establishment very well. It was my HQ during my 5 years in Paris. The meals are excellent. I recommend with your eyes closed 👌

The boss is very nice, friendly and non-racial 🤣 I was happy to still have something to eat after staying open so late. Although the meat was a bit tough, the fries and cakes were super delicious.

02/04/2024: Arrived at the very beginning of service, it was impeccable Frankly, in Paris not so far from a major train station, it's quite remarkable to have a restaurant like this with such affordable prices (removing the entrecôte from the equation we're averaging ~€17 per dish)

ASPIC

04/04/2024: If there’s a proud vibe of unassuming “haute French” dishes with surprise and enchantment, it would be Aspic. Humble in space, decor, and presentation, Aspic amuses your senses with delight and wonder. This is not a restaurant for a novice palate. Rather, it’s in the wine pairings complementing each dishes’ flavors like a gladsome Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers film—feeling inspired and joyful as you’re led along a colorful cornucopia of imagination. My pictures do not do the restaurant justice because it’s the confident humility of deliciousness that one must enjoy, when ready, on their own. One thing I would recommend would be to play with acid a bit more on some dishes, but overall I say bravo, Aspic. Bravo!
30/03/2024: The service was amazing, the ambience was intimate and comfortable, and the food...absolutely exquisite. We will definitely be going back! The Chef, Quinten, spoke to me in English and was so friendly. Highly, highly, highly recommend.
