We came as a family. The setting is nice. The welcome, however, was much less so. The waitress was very unpleasant, almost annoying. The owner wasn't any friendlier. Nevertheless, the meal was decent. The tarte flambée was very good. It's a shame the smiles weren't there.

The food certainly deserved better than the welcome we received. The waitress seemed to have left her smile in the kitchen… a shame, because a little warmth and cheerfulness would have made the experience much more pleasant. Being professional isn't just about serving food; it's also about greeting customers courteously. A smile costs nothing, but it makes a huge difference! The carpaccio was bland… very disappointing

A typical restaurant, not too large but very welcoming with themed furnishings and a family atmosphere. The menu descriptions are original, with dishes for all tastes! Excellent food, generous and carefully prepared (the Alsatian tart with vegetables is superb!) Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I had sauerkraut. It was a hearty meal, well-garnished with pieces of meat, my only regret was the bland sauerkraut, which wasn't cooked in white wine or seasoned.

We had a wonderful time at Youpel. The sauerkraut was absolutely delicious and packed with meat. The iced kouglof for dessert was a pure delight. We received a very warm welcome, and a special mention to the waitress (Tiffany or Stéphanie, I think) for her kindness, humor, and attentiveness. It was truly a lovely evening.
