A place that feels a bit out of time, perfect for a relaxing break! Enjoyable tastings with delicious sweet and savory treats… Everything seems to be homemade with passion. We sampled some pastries (pictured) and left with chocolates. A very pleasant place. Courteous service.

An unexpected lunch stop and a wonderful discovery. The savory chicken waffle is original, delicious, and a generous portion! The ice cream is served in a delightful chocolate shell, homemade just like the whipped cream 😋 The view of the canal is lovely. Note that for savory dishes, you have to wait until noon to be served.

The lunch menu was very simple, which is understandable given they're confectioners. The ice cream was very good. However, the wait was very long for dishes that didn't necessarily need to be hot (the salad and waffles were reheated), and the same was true for the ice cream, depending on the table around us.

A must-stop on the Briare Canal. The ice creams and sorbets are delicious and the setting is magnificent; thank you for the warm welcome.

A wonderful place for a cycling break. The chocolate teddy bears 🧸 are to die for and absolutely must be tried. There's a water dispenser for reusable water bottles (unfortunately, the water was warm, perhaps due to the heatwave). A very friendly team :)

24/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in Briare. A wonderful discovery. Everything is homemade (from appetizers to desserts), and it shows in the dishes. I ordered smoked chicken, and the smoky flavor was even present in the sauce. The steak tartare was also perfectly seasoned. The chef/owner is very friendly and puts his heart into his cooking. There might be a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it.
22/08/2026: Very good homemade and generous food, unfortunately the chef seems to be alone to run the dining room and the kitchen which results in an extremely long waiting time, 2 hours for a starter and a main course.
