The chef's dishes and the wine selection are of very high quality.
17/05/2026: A restaurant for everyone where fine dining doesn't have to mean a stuffy atmosphere.
We hadn't dared to go to a restaurant with our children for a long time, but this experience has rekindled our love of family outings.
Exceptional welcome: the staff was very kind and attentive (help with coats, booster seat), and the service was quick for the children. As a result, the children didn't cause any trouble.
The fish we ate was excellent. We were delighted with our experience.

26/06/2026: An extraordinary experience, where all the senses are delighted: flavors, a haven of coolness by the canal, a gentle atmosphere, the kindness and professionalism of the staff, etc.
A place where the dishes are both simple and sophisticated, delicious and beautiful.
A beautiful spot, a gourmet's paradise.
I didn't manage to kidnap the chef, and yet...
09/06/2026: Delicious ice cream (in a chocolate cup!) and a chocolate treat, a most pleasant break while cycling along the Loire 😁 in a magnificent setting. I'm eager to try all their pastries and chocolates... Dairy-free options are available. It's hard to resist! Thank you!

Restaurant Le Domaine des Roches

18/05/2026: The location is stunning and timeless; we were there in the autumn, and the colors and light were magnificent.
The hotel's common areas have old-world charm: creaking parquet floors, a beautiful wooden staircase, fireplaces, and so on. However, this charm is somewhat less romantic in the rooms, with aging carpets, yellowed paint, and bathrooms that are in dire need of renovation. Aside from the comfortable bedding (the bed, in particular, was very large!), we didn't find the room up to 4-star standards.
The spa area is pleasant, especially since we were the only guests. The hammam met our expectations, and the pool was clean and warm. The glass-enclosed space surrounded by greenery is very pleasant when the sun is shining.
The massage was of very high quality, although it was performed in what was once a guest room, without any real effort to transform it into a proper wellness space.
Finally, the restaurant was exceptional and more than reasonably priced for the quality. We regretted not having booked to return on the second night, the restaurant was full!

26/05/2026: I really wanted to thank the hotel staff for their kindness and understanding.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to personal circumstances, and honestly, I didn't expect such consideration.
A huge thank you to Brahmi, who took the time to understand the situation and accepted the cancellation despite the commission fees. This kind of human touch is rare these days, so it deserves to be mentioned.
Even without being able to stay there, this experience left me with a very positive impression. You can tell there are real people behind it, with respect and professionalism.
I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Thank you again 🙏
