Excellent restaurant in Briare. A wonderful discovery. Everything is homemade (from appetizers to desserts), and it shows in the dishes.
I ordered smoked chicken, and the smoky flavor was even present in the sauce. The steak tartare was also perfectly seasoned.
The chef/owner is very friendly and puts his heart into his cooking. There might be a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it.

Very good homemade and generous food, unfortunately the chef seems to be alone to run the dining room and the kitchen which results in an extremely long waiting time, 2 hours for a starter and a main course.

Excellent food, great value for money. The owner, cook, and waiter are all the same person, very friendly! We highly recommend this place, and for those who play the piano, it's a pleasure to play for the enjoyment of the customers and Chef Sébastien. Thank you for a lovely time.

If you don't mind taking it easy and love full plates of fine food from French cuisine, then you've come to the right place! There is one person working who does everything. That takes time, but he does it with so much love and pleasure that it makes for a lovely experience. And perhaps a guest will even add a musical interlude. All in all, a fun, delicious, and surprising evening!

I highly recommend it. Generous portions, a friendly atmosphere. Take your time to eat there; he runs the place himself, but he provides excellent service. We left delighted by this wonderful experience, the kind you rarely find anymore. A restaurateur who loves his work and his customers.

Everything is unique: the decor, the tables, and especially the owner-chef-waiter, who is relaxed, takes the time to chat, and cracks a joke. You have to be patient when he disappears into the kitchen for some truly memorable moments. And it's delicious.
