We had a wonderful time last night; the service and food were excellent. The ribeye steak was superb. Have a great day from the Northerners!

I have no comparison to other cider houses in Bayonne, as I was just passing through on business. We ordered the set menu with... well, practically everything: the omelet... superb, the fish with pimientos... superb, and the beef... well, it brought tears to my eyes... the cooking and quality far exceeded my expectations, just look at the photos already posted. It's very generous portions... all in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, at long tables, chatting with other passersby... I take my hat off to the staff... because this is an experience I will never forget.

The concept and the way the dishes are served, just like at home, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service is always friendly and cheerful. The food is good, and so is the artisanal apple wine. We'll be back.

I visited this establishment for a reunion of former players from the Ustaritz Labourdins football club. I was already familiar with the place, having been there several times. The setting is very pleasant, and the cider house spirit is fully respected, both in the atmosphere and the welcome. Regarding the food, my impression is more nuanced. I was disappointed by the cod, which didn't have the expected flavors; the dish seemed bland. I offer this comment in all honesty. On the other hand, the rest of the meal was satisfactory. The meat, in particular, was of good quality, which remains essential in this type of establishment. Even though I personally prefer cider houses on the Spanish side—a comparison that has its limitations—this place is still quite respectable. A word also about the wine list: having chosen the most affordable options, which are nonetheless well-known in the Northern Basque Country, I must admit that this choice was not entirely successful. The value for money in this price range seemed to me to be lacking. Admittedly, this is my personal opinion, but it's worth mentioning. Overall, it's a place worth discovering, especially for its friendly and authentic atmosphere.

Delicious and authentic cuisine. Excellent value for money. A very friendly atmosphere and a lovely team, from the owner to the staff. Be sure to book! It's very well-known in Bayonne, and deservedly so!

Fantastic cider house, the food is excellent, but the best part is the service; Katia is a star. She's incredibly friendly and always running around. A real treat.
