Clafoutis sur Dinan

I tried to give it a 10 out of 5, convinced that ordinary laws don't apply here, but unfortunately, Google won't let me. So the best solution is to come here and experience it for yourself...

From the dishes to the ambience and decor, including the crokery, everything in this little place suggests attention to detail and the hostess' true love for good honest food and a cosy atmosphere. I appreciate the set daily menu with a couple options for starters and mains (so one needn't think too much), and the spectacular desserts. I had the carrot cake and it was to die for. When you eat and drink so well, with such lovely napkins, cutlery, plates and cups, and, on top of everything, you're sitting literally in the hearth, with a nice soundtrack of songs, you have to be comfortable and happy. Cheers for Julie, who single-handedly looks after everything. If I'm back in Dinan, I'll surely call on Clafoutis again.

What a charming little corner! This quaint café is full of details that make it both beautiful and inviting. Everything at breakfast was of superior quality, from the tableware and cloth napkins to the homemade muffins. Today, by the way, was Julie's birthday—the wonderful hostess—and it was clear she was a much-loved person because several neighbors came in to congratulate her.
