Clamato sur Paris

Absolutely fantastic dinner at Clamato! The seafood was outstanding, creative, fresh, and beautifully prepared. We especially loved the oysters, tuna carpaccio, cuttlefish tagliatelle and the sea bass collar. Easily one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. One small issue worth mentioning: we ordered a €32 bottle of wine, but were served a different bottle that cost €64. We only realized this when we received the bill. The wine was excellent and we had such a great evening that we decided to pay the full price rather than make an issue of it, but we do think a change of bottle, especially at twice the price, should be clearly communicated before it is opened. That said, this did not change our overall impression. The food was exceptional, we had a wonderful evening, and we would happily come back!

If you like oysters and want a different kind of neighborhood, this is the place for you.

Nice, but not entirely convincing culinarily. A lovely little restaurant, which unfortunately gets very hot without air conditioning. The staff is super friendly and tries hard, but acts rather unprofessionally and lacks expertise. The menu consists exclusively of fish. The dishes are very experimental and didn't quite suit our taste – the spices were often too overpowering for the delicate fish. All in all, we felt it was somewhat overrated.

The restaurant was very busy, but the service was attentive and helpful. The food was innovative and excellent. The wine recommendation perfectly suited our taste.

Everything was exceptional, the food was so good and of course it was back up to Septime coz we didn’t get a reso there but we knew Clamato was it’s sister resto so it must be good as well. The sauce for this zucchini dish made me almost faint, it was absolutely insane, one of the best sauces I have ever had in my entire life. The vibe was so precious soooooo good!

Small plates, beautiful flavours, and fresh seafood. I absolutely loved their signature cocktail that is like a Canadian Caesar, but with beer instead of vodka. If you like Bloody Mary’s this drink is for you. The seafood platter is great, and the accompanying tomato kimchi is a standout. Our server was very nice and patiently and warmly answered all my curiosities about the food. Clamato is the sister restaurant to Septime (next door) and it is walk-in only and worth the wait. On Friday night, we were able to get a table immediately at 7:00 PM.

Exceptional dishes, extremely kind and helpful staff

An unforgettable dinner. From the warm welcome to the last detail, everything was memorable. A surprising, creative seafood menu with an exotic touch, but always true to the essence and exceptional quality of each ingredient. The oysters were absolutely delicious, the fish divine, the seafood impeccable… and the dessert was the perfect ending to a truly extraordinary gastronomic experience. There are restaurants that serve excellent dishes. And there are others that offer us memories. Clamato undoubtedly belongs to that second category.

We ended up coming back here again during our trip, and that says it all. Great food, great wine, and a team that really knows how to recommend the right bottle. Everything felt easy, relaxed, and enjoyable. We stayed until they closed because we simply didn’t want the evening to end. 🍷🤍

Heatwave aside, we really enjoyed our dinner here. The seafood game is strong and so is are the raw dishes, especially the cuttlefish tagliatella resembling the traditional peanut sauce style noodles. However, portions are crazy tiny. We shared a monkfish as a main which was barely three bites.
