We had a great meal, the waiters were very attentive at all times, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the restrooms were spotless. The food was superb, overall a 10 out of 10. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the bread seemed a bit stale.

Passing through Carcassonne, we stopped at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cassoulet was excellent, and the desserts were perfectly balanced. The children's menu was also very good. The waiters were attentive and very friendly. We will gladly return on our next visit. They deserve their positive reviews.

I had a wonderful experience at Comte Roger in Carcassonne. The food was absolutely delicious, clearly made with great care, and every dish was a pleasure. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really made a difference. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. It’s definitely a must-go if you’re visiting Carcassonne. Excellent place. The cassoulet was superb. Our Airbnb host recommended it. Passing through Carcassonne for 24 hours, we appreciated the quality of service and the explanations provided by the waiter. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. The wine recommendations were much appreciated and perfectly complemented this iconic dish.

16/02/2026: Service was a bit slow. The food was inconsistent across the dishes.
15/02/2026: Tucked away in the old city of Carcassonne. A very delicious meal, albeit a bit small portions (though that might just be me). We had canelloni with foie gras, followed by a super tasty steak with pepper sauce. The desserts were also delicious. We had the friendly service choose our wine, and it was absolutely perfect.

09/07/2025: Spectacular!!! This walled city is a marvel, it was worth the trip.
09/07/2025: We only visited the free area because the price was €19. I think it's very expensive compared to other major monuments in Spain. What we saw caught our attention: the castle with battlements, busy streets with tourists, and a lively atmosphere. You can easily visit it in a day, eating inside and taking home a souvenir.
