We had a great meal, the waiters were very attentive at all times, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the restrooms were spotless. The food was superb, overall a 10 out of 10. If I had to find a fault, it would be that the bread seemed a bit stale.

Passing through Carcassonne, we stopped at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The cassoulet was excellent, and the desserts were perfectly balanced.
The children's menu was also very good.
The waiters were attentive and very friendly.
We will gladly return on our next visit.
They deserve their positive reviews.

I had a wonderful experience at Comte Roger in Carcassonne. The food was absolutely delicious, clearly made with great care, and every dish was a pleasure. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really made a difference. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. It’s definitely a must-go if you’re visiting Carcassonne. As a bonus, the team speaks French, English, and Spanish, which is extremely helpful for tourists.

Excellent place. The cassoulet was superb. Our Airbnb host recommended it. Passing through Carcassonne for 24 hours, we appreciated the quality of service and the explanations provided by the waiter. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. The wine recommendations were much appreciated and perfectly complemented this iconic dish.

Perfect!
We were there on December 26th.
We ordered four cassoulets and one children's menu.
Everything was absolutely delicious! The cassoulets were generous and flavorful, and the children's menu was just as good as the adult menu.
The desserts were wonderful!
We'll definitely be back!

What can I say, it was nothing short of outstanding! We shared the fois gras special appetizer of the house. I'm sure I will dream of it. Fois gras to perfection with apple on a kind of savory tart. And of course we shared Cassoulet. We also had really delicious local wine while looking at the castle, I can't believe I just said that! Wonderful, not a tourist trap.
