Coq Blanc sur Niederbronn-Les-Bains

A wonderful time at this family-run restaurant. Everything was perfect, from the decor and the friendly staff to the menu and the food. The tarte flambée was delicious, with homemade pastry. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend it! 😉

We found this place online and had dinner there. The cordon bleu and frog legs were both excellent. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the waitress was welcoming, although we felt the service was a little lacking. Let me explain: they asked us what we wanted as an aperitif before we'd even seen the menu. We ordered a tarte flambée as an aperitif once we had the menus, but they took it back and we had to ask again later to order our main courses. Well, minor things, but they seem important to the other customers. We'll definitely go back.

A truly delightful place, a menu that reflects Alsatian culinary tradition. The potato dumplings are just as I remembered them, the tarte flambée is generous, the bouchée à la reine is simply incredible, and the apple tarte flambée is the perfect dessert to crown a wonderful dinner for two, or more... 😁 And the most important thing is the welcome; the staff is incredibly attentive and apologizes when the restaurant is full (understandable given the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere). Isabelle and her colleague are fantastic in the kitchen; they give it their all. I highly recommend it, and we'll be back on our next weekend trip to Niederbronn-les-Bains. A MUST-SEE!!!!! It's better to wait a while for your food, as is the case at Le Coq Blanc (a sign of real skill in the kitchen 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏), than to get it after two minutes... a sign of a good microwave 😡... which is definitely not the case at Le Coq Blanc, I repeat! Go there!
