Traditional, refined, and elegant cuisine. A warm welcome and fairly quick service. Pleasant setting with a view of the cathedral. Located between the old town and the city center. One of the few restaurants in Le Mans open for Sunday lunch, which is a definite plus.

11/08/2026: I don't understand the 4-star rating for this restaurant; I'm from Le Mans and it's one of the best restaurants in Le Mans.
11/08/2026: As residents of Toulouse, passing through Le Mans, we had lunch at La Réserve for the first time in July, where we enjoyed some extraordinary club sandwiches. We were so warmly welcomed by the servers, and the service was so attentive and friendly, that we returned in August, during another visit to Le Mans. Once again, the service was incredibly efficient and kind, the daily special was excellent, and the wine was delicious. We are very surprised by the negative reviews.
