L'Annexe sur Le Mans

The platter was quite expensive for what little there was. Unfortunately, the waiter cut himself while preparing our platter but left us a piece of bread with blood on it. We received no compensation for the inconvenience.

A very good experience at Brasserie L’Annexe in Le Mans. I've eaten there about five times and have always been satisfied. The lunches are excellent, with generous portions, delicious dishes, and a varied menu that offers something different each time. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, ideal for a lunch break. The service is efficient, and the staff is welcoming every time. A reliable place that I'll definitely return to for lunch; I highly recommend it.

I came to try it out after seeing the weekly daily specials posted on Facebook. Unfortunately, it was advertised as Moussaka on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, but it turned out to be devil's ham hock. However, the next day it was indeed paella... I finally chose the "Catch of the Day" dish for €15.90, which consisted of cod loin with curry sauce on a bed of rice and ratatouille. The curry was a tiny bit strong, but otherwise the rest of the dish was excellent. The small fruit salad for dessert, a bit pricey at €6, was very fresh and a decent portion. The service was incredibly responsive and attentive despite the lunchtime crowd. I came on foot because I know it's difficult to get around and park in the area during lunchtime.

Just a simple coffee at the bar during lunchtime service, and they serve you as if you'd ordered a starter, main course, and dessert! That's professional! Well done, Loïc and your team!

A very warm welcome, their Liège chocolate is amazing, and their mussels and fries are excellent, I'll have to come back again for a real treat 🥰
