This restaurant boasts not only a superb view, but also excellent cuisine and a professional and friendly staff. The chef always makes a point of visiting the tables at the end of service, demonstrating the respect shown to his guests and the well-deserved confidence in his cooking. While there are many traditional Flemish restaurants, this one offers revisited classics, and it's a real success. We are customers who would like to be even more frequent patrons, because whether it's for a meal for two, a larger gathering, or a birthday celebration, we have always had a wonderful time. Excellent experience! Local cuisine just the way we like it! The mayonnaise is exceptional, it's worth the trip!! The chef comes into the dining room to check on everyone – a nice touch I really appreciate! A welcoming team that's attentive to its customers.

Excellent experience: very warm welcome and service, delicious and original local home cooking (grey shrimp croquettes and homemade fricadelle), and a panoramic view. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Lovely, tastefully decorated restaurant. Very pleasant welcome, quick service, and friendly staff. Excellent Flemish carbonnade, the best I've ever had. Also very good fricadelle. The meat is of excellent quality. Very good desserts. The "café gourmand" is a delightful selection of small pastries that are a perfect ending to the meal. Everything is homemade.

A wonderful experience, I highly recommend it! The welcome was warm and the staff particularly attentive. The manager even came to greet us at the end of our meal, a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated. The view from the upper terrace is magnificent and the food is equally excellent. I will definitely return!

I've never tasted such tender meat. The fries were equally delicious, and the pepper sauce only enhanced the flavor. The setting is beautiful, and that's precisely why the terrace would benefit from some decoration. We'll gladly return!

23/08/2026: We were lucky enough to try the Friday night couscous, a new addition to the menu. You're served with a smile and the staff is incredibly friendly. The dish arrives on your plate complete with chickpeas, chili, coriander, and raisins… and you can enjoy it all at a table reminiscent of an authentic French Flemish café. The icing on the cake is the genuine mint tea, made with fresh mint leaves, which makes it feel like a refreshing hot drink after the couscous. Don't forget to try the Picon-inspired Spritz (house recipe)… a truly delicious discovery! 😊 We were delighted with the rhubarb crumble for dessert, presented under a glass dome, a reminder that England isn't far away and that the devil is in the details, in the finesse of the presentation. In short, a place to go for an authentic and very pleasant meal.
15/08/2026: Friendly service, dishes prepared with local products, without frills. Highly recommended.
