A very warm welcome, a chef who is very attentive to customer expectations (at the helm since 2020). A truly delightful view over the Flanders plain. The cuisine and dishes are flavorful and original, made with excellent quality local produce. The staff is attentive and very pleasant. My best experience in Cassel. Definitely worth the detour.

The restaurant lives up to its name, boasting a beautiful terrace with magnificent views. The traditional cuisine lives up to the setting, all at a very reasonable price. The welcome and service are provided by very pleasant and smiling staff; the chef is equally attentive, checking to see if you're enjoying your meal. A wonderful discovery!

We had a wonderful meal! Homemade dishes prepared with quality ingredients, and excellent service. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Furthermore, children are very welcome, which is a real plus. We highly recommend it.

Very warm welcome and quality regional cuisine

Mixed review: Mr.'s main course and starter were mediocre; the bone marrow was ruined by the beef cheek, and the andouillette sausage was practically nonexistent and far too dry under the filo pastry. The fries and pepper sauce were excellent. For Mrs., the starter and main course were excellent; the soft-boiled egg and panoramic hamburger were very good and original. The restaurant is nicely decorated but far too noisy.

A typical northern location, a view of Flanders, and above all, a very friendly and warm welcome. We'll be back!

A very good bistro with typical Northern dishes made with local produce. The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant, and the cook comes to each table to ask how the meal is going.

On a solo motorbike trip and deciding to stay in Cassel for my first night, I wanted to try somewhere special for my first meal at a real French restaurant. Le Panoramic did not disappoint. What a fantastic little place! The food was incredible, the staff were superb and the overall experience will definitely bring me back. Notably, the chef and I got talking (mostly about rugby because England were playing France) and he kept checking in on me and making sure the food was good, which it was. It was just really nice to see that it clearly meant a lot to him and the young waiter that my first French experience was a good one. If they read this, I'm sorry I haven't mentioned you by name, I forgot to ask, but to the chef and young lad waiter.... Fantastic job!

Excellent find! A warm welcome, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The chef even came around to greet the customers – that was a really nice touch! We'll definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful terrace.
