My first time at this restaurant overlooking the sea. The decor is unusual, but it suits the atmosphere perfectly. We were seated by the fireplace, which was lovely and warm, and the meal (sausage and homemade fries) was fantastic – we ate very well! I recommend this restaurant if you enjoy unique experiences.

It's so nice that you can come in soaking wet without feeling uncomfortable. We ate delicious mussels and whelks. Highly recommended.

We visited La Cale on a windy October evening. While we were initially unsure whether it was the right time to visit a place billed as a beach bar in such weather, our doubts were quickly dispelled. It was a magical evening, as we enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and simple but delicious food, while gazing out the windows at the raging sea.

25/11/2024: A sunny spring day, at low tide, sitting on the terrace of the "Grand Herbet", contemplating the magnificent panorama, offered by the shimmering golden shine of the herbets (kelp), on the ocher and brownish rocks, and the noria oyster farmers' tractors. Except for the appeal of the terrace, not much to say...except that. Ordinary cuisine, Fish And Chips and ordinary lemon tart. Average service. Local and noisy atmosphere. This is all average.

23/01/2026: Superb experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant ⭐️ We tried the famous "cheapest menu in France for a Michelin-starred restaurant," which we'd heard about on several cooking shows, particularly on France Inter, and we weren't disappointed. The menu is a set menu for €29.90, including a starter, main course, and dessert. Stick to this if you don't want the bill to skyrocket. After reading other reviews, we were worried, but you can get away with spending around €100 for two if you're careful. Indeed, a bottle of mineral water is €12.90, no bottle of wine is under €70, and a glass of wine is €15, not to mention the espresso at €8.90 😱 but it's a Michelin-starred restaurant!! We opted for the wine pairing at €22 for two glasses of wine per person, and it was perfect 👌🏻 We ate very well, both in terms of quality and quantity, and the bill came to €103 for two, which is more than reasonable for a Michelin-starred restaurant 👍🏻 Thank you to the team, who were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive 🥰
12/01/2026: Extremely nice staff. Food is divine. Room was "dans son jus" as expected 😀. We had a great time!
