Crêperie La Cote Sauvage sur Paris

The food was superb, we loved it. The place is beautiful in its understated elegance, with comfortable tables and lovely tableware. The portions were just right, the cooking was perfect, the sauces and sides were impeccable, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Unfortunately, the wine list, which we know is unusual, had many unavailable selections, and the waiter/sommelier was unremarkable.

Sauvage is exactly the kind of wine bar that keeps me coming back. An ever-changing, seasonal menu, beautifully sourced ingredients and a wine list that’s full of thoughtful discoveries. I stopped in for lunch and paired it with a lovely Chenin Blanc—the kind of pairing that reminds you how good simple food and great wine can be. Relaxed, unpretentious, and genuinely passionate about what they do. One of my most favourite Left Bank little gems!

You must try the tuna with spinach, basil and cherries and ponzu. What a strange but perfect combination.

Excellent, inventive cuisine; a small menu, but each dish is a truly bold combination. The service is very good and friendly. However, the portions are a bit small considering the price; big eaters should probably avoid it.

Had two tasty lunches at Sauvage. Good food and value especially the set lunches. Make sure to stroll around the neighbourhood. A great chocolate shop near to Sauvage.

We thought every dish was lovely and delicious - the wine list was fresh and the staff was able to give us recommendations- dined with our 7 year old and were treated so well and welcomed even though our French is mid ;)
