A very pleasant surprise and a great place. The Crêperie de la Motte Piquet is an artisanal crêperie with homemade products located right next to a popular building, the cathedral. Very affordable prices: €16.50 for the weekday lunch menu with a complete galette + crêpe + cider + coffee! Fun detail: Trivial Pursuit question cards are available on the tables to entertain guests while they wait for their meals. Awesome welcome, beautiful decor with a lovely fireplace inside. The culinary preparations are masterful; we had a very good meal. I highly recommend this establishment and it will definitely be on our itinerary when family visits Rennes!

We came to spend the weekend in Rennes and we returned by chance! We received a great welcome! The pancakes were delicious! We had a great time! And a little nod to the Patchworks which adorn the walls wonderfully! We will definitely come back during our next visit to Rennes!

The setting of the Pierre and Beam restaurant is very pleasant. Only I ate, I was placed in a small discreet corner which initially allowed me to be calm. But I thought I was forgetting it, the other side of the coin, when I had to wait 15 minutes to take my order. Flat side...disappointing. I choose a crepe made with soudie sauce to taste a specialty...and a simple onion compote arrives...nothing to see. The waitress tells me a dessert with red fruit coulis in the Breton café...and I end up with a scoop of ice cream.... Frankly, it's a shame because the setting facing the cathedral is ideal. But to eat well and enjoy yourself...at a future customer's place...go 200m further to Place de Bretagne....you will find a much better one

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, the galettes were delicious, and it was a very attractive restaurant! The galette was the most delicious thing I ate in France! I'm glad that the staff were courteous and accommodating.
