During an impromptu stopover after a train journey, the search for a café led me to the discovery of the Timonerie, a charming establishment which stands out for its authentic character. Managed with passion by an independent owner, whose friendliness and local accent add to the warm atmosphere, this place offers a welcome where you immediately feel at ease. Although I did not have the opportunity to taste the cuisine, the attention paid to cleanliness, from the room to the toilets, did not escape my notice. I can only highly recommend La Timonerie to anyone looking for a nice and authentic place for a coffee break or more.

La Timonerie is a really nice place like Laurence and Tiphaine who run the place. You feel at home there, which is very comfortable when you're far from home. You can eat simple and comforting dishes there at any time, cooked with ultra-fresh products. Ask for the chocolate tart or the lemon tart: a pure treat!
