Crêperie la Place sur Versailles

The galettes are good, but the waiters are really unfriendly. It's a shame, it spoils the atmosphere of the restaurant a bit.

Good crepes. Savory and sweet options available. Small place, but there are plenty of places to sit. If you're American, best to keep it on the down-low. There are some weird misconceptions about tipping culture in the States LOL.

We went to have lunch at this restaurant today. I planned my entire trip itinerary using Google Maps and looking at the reviews, so we added this restaurant to our list. I hadn't checked if reservations were necessary, so I didn't make one, but they gave us the option of sitting outside at the tables on the street or waiting a while. We opted for the outside tables. The place was almost full, and people were constantly trying to get in. The initial service was quick, the food arrived and was wonderful! My daughter, who always rejects different foods, accepted it calmly and loved it! After we finished and the waiter came to clear the plates, I asked for the menu again because we wanted to order the sweet crepes and finish our meal, but he never brought it. We waited about ten minutes, I got up and looked for the menu on the wall, just to order the food, and even then no one showed up. As more people were arriving, and it was raining, we decided to make room for others. The food is wonderful, whoever goes won't regret it, I believe that getting a table inside improves the experience.

An excellent crêperie just steps from the castle. In short, the crêpes are excellent, that's a non-negotiable fact, but it's Julien's performance that really impressed us. He could do stand-up comedy, but the thing is, he prefers to offer us whipped cream and digestifs. Just remember to be friendly and he'll return the favor.

I've been here a few times and the food and service was always good. When the weather is nice, the outside tables next to the Château de Versailles is a top-notch experience.

Quite decent food, but a bit shaky service - many people at work, but clearly one person running the store and making the decisions. Could have benefited from a slightly flatter structure.

I agree with the previous review: fast service and close to the castle. However, I was very disappointed with the crepe (the Vegetarian). It was too salty, with very little filling (which was crunchy: were the vegetables poorly washed?).
