Monument Café Versailles sur Versailles

Having already been once, I wanted to repeat the experience. Regarding the buffet, although small, I have little to complain about. However, I arrived on a sweltering day... No air conditioning! Results: All the windows wide open: annoying road noise from the fire; numerous wasps eating directly from the glass containers and even on us at the table... Very hot in the restaurant: my appetite quickly died; we couldn't enjoy the meal as we would have liked... So, for me, it's a deal-breaker to eat in these conditions. The hostesses weren't to blame, and the buffet itself was still good, but clearly, the experience was ruined. Plus, I had mentioned in my reservation that it was for my birthday... I didn't receive anything special (I mean, not even a little note upon arrival :( What a shame).

A unique experience at the foot of the Palace of Versailles. Quality products, welcoming staff, tasteful decor, fresh and homemade ingredients – a must-visit if you're in the area. A truly wonderful time spent at this establishment.

The brunch was good, with a very tasty pork cheek casserole today. It's a shame the dining room isn't air-conditioned, but the heat was bearable with the fans. Highly recommended.

I had an unforgettable experience at Monument Café. The location is fantastic, close to the castle and the pond. The welcome was incredibly warm. I hadn't booked, but I was able to enjoy the all-you-can-eat brunch for €33, and it was a pure delight with every bite. All the ingredients are carefully selected, and the pastries and viennoiseries are delicious. There's a good selection, and the recipes seem to vary depending on the season and the chef's inspiration. Examples include financiers, coconut chocolate mousse, caramel custard, fresh fruit salad, and tiramisu. The portions are well-sized, allowing you to try a little bit of everything. Everything is homemade; you can see it, smell it, and taste it! 👍🏻 As for the savory options, there's a small selection of verrines (small glass jars). Fresh and flavorful, tuna tartare, fish ceviche, cucumber with cream… To accompany this meal, freshly squeezed juice (apple and orange) is available. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend it. Thank you to the chefs and the waitress.

Always very good and varied. Perfect product quality and price. Ideally for regular customers, the offerings should change every two weeks instead of monthly. Very pleasant service.

We came for a family brunch on April 18th with two young children (18 months and 5 years old). We received an excellent welcome from a very attentive young woman – thank you! The food was delicious, fresh, and always plentiful. The restaurant is located near the Palace of Versailles and the Swiss Pond, so you can easily take a stroll before or after. In short, a wonderful and enjoyable experience guaranteed. We will be back!

A lovely, pleasant, and friendly place. The sweet and savory dishes are divine, and the brunch menu is very generous. Highly recommended. Special mention to the waitress; she had a radiant smile 😊 Reservations are recommended, as tables fill up quickly.

Excellent meal. We were offered the €16 menu and the dishes were fresh and excellent.
