Located directly in front of the castle, the restaurant serves typical French home cooking at reasonable prices. The quality has improved since the change of ownership in 2024. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We visited this establishment during a trip to Versailles. Due to the heatwave, we sat inside. The welcome was excellent, the waiter very professional and attentive, the food very good, and the value for money unbeatable. We'll know where to eat next time we're in Versailles.

Excellent little French bistro. Very friendly staff. Good food and very kind service from the young woman who looked after us. The only slight drawback: the wine I had by the glass as an aperitif wasn't a Chablis (as requested). Everything else was perfect! I recommend it.

Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, great service, and top-notch food/dessert. If you're visiting the Palace of Versailles, be sure to have lunch at La Petit.

The escargots were delicious; I highly recommend them as a local and exotic French dish. The prices on the entire food menu are reasonable; the drinks are more expensive but still acceptable. Overall, the customer service is good, and the waiters are very attentive.

10/06/2026: Great experience at Lazare's! 🙂😃 The foie gras was delicious and served in a generous portion. The beef bourguignon was flavorful and well-prepared. The gourmet coffee was the perfect ending to the meal with its lovely sweet treats. 🥰😋😋 I'll gladly return. I highly recommend this place! 🍽️😊
05/06/2026: Excellent wood-fired grill restaurant with fish. Good menu, beautiful and unique setting on a pedestrian street. I've been a satisfied customer for years and always enjoy returning.
