I do not normally write reviews but like others I don't get the negative reviews. This is a small creperie with only 4 or 5 tables inside. There is a small kitchen at the back, behind a counter, where the proprietor cooks the crepes. He also hands out menus, takes orders and payments. He talks to you, sometimes close by, sometimes from the kitchen area. it's a small place! My French is very poor, his English non-existent. But we had a good chat about the pictures of the City mayors on the wall. We then ended up having a good laugh over our inability to understand one another. As for the crepes, they were good - I had the salmon for main and apple and pear with Chantilly cream for desert. I look forward to going back again.

I went in out of curiosity after reading the overwhelmingly negative reviews, and frankly, it's far from a disaster. The owner does everything himself; he's a bit gruff, but once you get past that, you can clearly see his genuine warmth. The prices are very reasonable, and the galettes and crêpes are quite generous. Personally, some background music would have been a nice touch, but in the end, it was almost better as it was for chatting with the other tables. Don't be afraid to try something different.

The owner is nice despite his slightly grumpy demeanor. We had a good meal.
