A very good traditional Lyonnais bistro, very friendly and authentic. A great vegetarian option, very generous portions, and you leave feeling satisfied. The servers are very pleasant, even cheerful, which is a nice bonus.

If you're vegan, you'd better move along. Otherwise, you're in the best hands in this setting! A four-course menu—all creations centered around meat—natural, without dessert. A true culinary experience. Very characteristic cuisine for Lyon; after my visit, I can definitely confirm the story of this being the source of the world's best cuisine. I really appreciated the cloth napkins, the beautiful details, the honest, no-fuss cooking, and the excellent wine selection. The typical architecture envelops everything and makes the evening perfect. I'll definitely be back!

It's good, no complaints, but the organization is lacking. We're still waiting for our glass of wine...

I was a bit disappointed by this restaurant. The first course (cold tomato soup) was very tasty, and I enjoyed the sides with the main course (pasta and salad). I did not like the quenelle--the sauce was tasty but the dumpling itself was like a fish-flavoured sponge. However I concede that is a matter of personal taste. The biggest disappointment was the praline apple tarte tatin, which looked beautiful, but had very little flavour, with a crust that was hard to cut and not particularly tasty. The restaurant felt very crowded--too many tables in the space--and I felt rushed through my dinner, perhaps because I was dining solo and they were hoping to turn my table. I did appreciate the staff's excellent English and the friendly welcome, but the service just generally felt frenetic.

Hands down the best Bouchon we ate in Lyon. Can’t get over how amazing the food was. The service was incredible. All around everything was perfection. Reservations is a must!!
