Dans Les Pas d'Eugénie sur Le Chambon-Sur-Lignon

20/06/2026: June 2026: Back from Corsica, we decided to explore here for two days using our Smartbox voucher. When we arrived, we were able to park in a small, shaded shed ☀️, which was very convenient 👍. We received a warm welcome from our hostess, Sonia, who showed us to our room (comfort type) on the second floor, which we climbed on foot. Please note, there is no elevator ☹️, so it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility 🧑‍🦽. I noticed 🧐 during my climb that some of the stair slats were missing and that the carpet was old and could definitely use a refresh 🔨🪛🪣🧽 (see photos). We appreciated the small bottle of water and sachets of coffee and chocolate provided, but we were disappointed that for a "comfort" room, there was no air conditioning or small refrigerator ☹️, whereas most of the hotels we've stayed in had these. The infinity pool (with saltwater) is very beautiful and pleasant for cooling off, but unfortunately not very practical for swimming. It's worth noting that the waterfall adds a special charm to the whole place 👍. The hotel also has a gym, a billiards room, and a jacuzzi (which we didn't use). Breakfast is a real treat, with something for everyone (both sweet and savory) 😋. The hotel is also located in the middle of a magnificent pine forest, which makes you feel close to nature 🥰. In short, we had a pleasant stay at this place 🙂.

04/06/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the end of May celebrating Julie and Cyrill's wedding. This hotel and restaurant is very peaceful, the food is excellent, and the nights are restful and pleasant. Numerous activities are available on-site (swimming pool, jacuzzi, paddleboarding, hiking, treetop adventure park, etc.). The hotel has a family history, with four generations having run it since the 1940s, and it's still going strong today. Thank you to the manager and the entire team.
