Let’s start with the positive point: the gastronomy. The food was excellent, we had very tasty sardines with chips cooked in duck oil, the “meal of the day”: roasted courgettes, rice with safran, yummy bacon and perfectly cooked egg, a platter with charcuterie, local cheese. All was tasteful, with local products, original, warm with tapas’ style. However, the service was not great: the owner took a while to come and take our orders and when we asked a question about the menu, we were given a sarcastic reply with a short “funny” answer (“Well, you required me to come to order and you’re still indecisive on your orders so you are not ready yet” before leaving our table while we were ready to order). We had the feeling that we were always bothering him. Not a pleasant experience in terms of customer service, really. Despite the very good cuisine, we will not come back because of the owner’s cocky and arrogant attitude.

Mr. Norbert wrote that tourists are treated rudely. I can't confirm that. I was always treated very well, and the food was consistently excellent. We'll be back in three weeks and are already looking forward to this beautiful place.

Warm, good, and inexpensive. Don't miss the roasted Camembert burger and the pan con tomate with Iberian ham—delicious. Wine by the glass and a great evening.

Fantastic meal, amazing food, very generous portions

I loved it, but I should have chosen a different dessert. The rest was perfect! The atmosphere was very charming, like a flea market/cabinet of curiosities 🙂 P.S.: Remember to book in advance 😉

Food was ok, the ingredients were good but the preparation was lacking. The music was super loud for a restaurant, we could not really hear ourselves speak. The people were really friendly.

Much more than just a restaurant, it's a journey back in time! Located in the heart of the city, I was surprised by the eclectic, almost museum-like decor, which transports you straight back to the 1970s. The atmosphere is friendly, the cuisine is expertly prepared and affordable, offering excellent value for money! The added bonus: a complimentary tasting of Noilly Prat wine, courtesy of the owner! And to extend our day, we headed to the Noilly Prat cellars, just a few minutes' walk away. A place well worth a visit.

The food was amazing and top-notch, I 100% recommend it. This is a restaurant not to be missed when you're in the area.
