03/05/2026: We left disappointed after our dinner at “La Table de mon Père.” The setting is truly exceptional: the view is simply magnificent, the dining room warm and inviting, and the service very professional. We had chosen two menus with wine pairings. On that front, there was nothing to complain about: the wines were original, beautifully presented, and perfectly suited to our tastes. The starter was also remarkable, with barbecued asparagus accompanied by a perfect hollandaise sauce! However, the rest of the meal was much less convincing. The fish, despite being cooked flawlessly, was served plain and lacked flavor. Paired with a watercress sauce and rather bland vegetables, the dish remained very bland, without any real depth. The dessert, a visually impeccable strawberry pavlova, also left us with a bad taste. The idea of ​​strawberry-chili ice cream was interesting, but the chili was so overpowering that it made the whole thing difficult to appreciate. Moreover, a customer at a neighboring table seemed to share this unpleasant surprise at this very bold choice. Ultimately, between a bland main course and an overly intense dessert, the balance was off. At €65 for the menu, this is all the more regrettable.
