Lunch during a visit to Nantes: the set menu was perfect. Delicious pea gazpacho, marinated chicken, and a divine dessert (panna cotta with peaches in syrup). Very reasonable price, pleasant service

Chez Dinette, a very cozy tea room with small tables on the terrace, on a lively street. Exquisite Eggs Benedict, Salmon with Cheese, and Scrambled Eggs with Potatoes and Salad, plus two drinks and two mint teas: €54. Very good food! Very good service! But be aware that around 2:00 they stop serving food and it becomes a tea room.

I stumbled upon this tea room while out for a stroll. The welcome was just right. The pastries were excellent and homemade. The atmosphere was a little too noisy for me. I'll go back a second time to try some new cakes and see if it's a bit quieter.

05/07/2026: Finally, an authentic restaurant with a real sense of hospitality and true professionals. It had been a long time since I'd eaten so well in Nantes without breaking the bank. And let's not forget the setting: the hidden, shaded garden is perfect this time of year.
