A place to remember! Generous portions, and above all, delicious food, served by a sweet and smiling waitress, "Lolita." €18 for a green salad, heirloom tomatoes, endives, slices of cold roast beef, a poached egg, a small savory muffin, and 125g of excellent mozzarella, all beautifully presented, and a lovely Dame Blanche for dessert. Excellent value for money. My daughter, my father, and I were delighted with this discovery. We'll be back!

A truly fantastic bar! The atmosphere is wonderful, the drinks are perfectly ice-cold and, above all, absolutely delicious 😋🍹 I especially loved the Virgin Mojito, a real treat! 😉 And a special mention to the waitress, who is lovely, very kind, and truly attentive to her customers. It's a pleasure to be so warmly welcomed and served! I highly recommend it, a great spot in Montbrison! ❤️

We had a wonderful time at Dolce Vita in Montbrison. The waitress was very pleasant, always smiling, and attentive to our requests. The service was quick, efficient, and delivered with a smile, which was much appreciated. The daily special was excellent, generous, beautifully presented, and very tasty. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. A great place that I highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

After reading some reviews, we were curious to form our own opinion, especially regarding the waitress. We discovered a professional, smiling, and very efficient person. Far from the image of someone "unpleasant," "curt," or "aggressive," she remained polite, attentive, and responsive despite the fast pace of service. It's clear she knows her job and does her best to satisfy customers, even when it's busy. It's easy to misinterpret someone's behavior when the service is hectic, but we saw a dedicated and respectful waitress. Thank you for your warm welcome and professionalism; we will gladly return.

05/10/2026: We only had a few hours to explore downtown Saint-Claude, and we were really craving a Jura fondue. Unfortunately, many restaurants were closed, and it was already almost 2:00 PM. On the phone, a warm voice told us: "Don't worry, I'll be waiting for you." When we arrived at Le Petit Machon, a very charming, smiling, and welcoming woman served us fresh water and put us at ease about arriving so late to enjoy a specialty that requires time to appreciate. The fondue was served relatively quickly. It was tempting and appetizing... The charcuterie was plentiful and beautifully presented. It was an absolute delight. Definitely worth trying. Above all, it's excellent value for money. Furthermore, the owner, always available and friendly, gave us a summary of the most important sights to see and admire in Saint-Claude in such a short time. This was truly very helpful. It wasn't just a simple lunch; it was an encounter, a discovery, a wonderful memory... We'll definitely go back if we return to Saint Claude.
