We went for dinner as a group of four on a Monday evening and frankly, it was remarkable.
The gratin was excellent.

Okay, but still disappointed…
Admittedly, the menu isn't expensive and the dishes seem homemade, but the portions are really very small. There were seven of us, and we all felt the same thing.
For starters, a goat cheese and honey pastilla: a single small piece wrapped in filo pastry, accompanied by a huge amount of salad… It wasn't a great start.
For the main course, "aiguillettes" (sliced aiguillettes) which turned out to be a very small piece of beef, served with a lot of chewiness. The side dish was gratin dauphinois, but only two small plates to share between seven people. As a result, we were still hungry.
We asked for an extra plate of gratin, and the response was:
"I can, but you'll have to wait 10-15 minutes. You'll have finished eating by then, and I'll charge you extra for it." The wait didn't bother us, even though the meat was already gone, but the way they said it was surprising. We clearly sensed a lack of enthusiasm…
For dessert, the “Catalan creams” weren’t really Catalan at all: the taste and texture were very different from the traditional recipe.
In the end, it came to €270 for seven people. I find that expensive for what we actually had on our plates. We all had to eat again once we got home, even though we’re not big eaters or particularly picky. It was really pushing it.
It’s a shame, because you could still tell it was homemade and there was some good flavor, especially in the gratin. But overall, the experience was disappointing.
