A very cozy place. The Viking ship theme is truly beautiful. The managers are very pleasant and attentive. The food is delicious and very tasty – well done, you're the best!

The chef is welcoming, kind, and friendly. Service is quick and the meal is good (rump steak with very flavorful meat). The prices are reasonable, starting at around twenty euros at lunchtime, or thirty if you're a foodie. I recommend it; even for a drink in the evening, it's simple and welcoming.

Spending a week's vacation with a friend in Lozère, it was always a pleasure to get together in the evening for a drink and lunch. The chef and his staff are full of joie de vivre, friendliness, and good humor. The cuisine is worthy of a very good brasserie, with fresh, local products. I humbly recommend this excellent brasserie to anyone looking for a good time.

Good, but... The restaurant is welcoming on the facade, but the service, unfortunately, was quite different... wrong order, wrong table, random service. Fortunately, the food saves the overall impression with its local products and flavor.

11/10/2025: We were given a very warm welcome upon our arrival. A delicious local menu followed by a complimentary appetizer... a very pleasant experience with a little background music and a chat with the owner. A small establishment in the old town of Mende, which requires a reservation in advance. A must-see address. Everything was excellent. See you next time on your next visit to Mende.
