Drakkar Pub sur Mende

While passing through the area, we stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurant/pub; it was simply excellent. I had the fondue specialty, and my partner had the burger. Both were excellent. The establishment has a charm that we also appreciated.

The only place open on Mondays, so we're being a bit simplistic... however, while the staff is friendly... the service and the food are lacking. A rare Aubrac beef steak arrived way overcooked and tasteless (disappointing). My companion had obviously finished his meal long before mine had arrived. ...😞😠☹️ So, we cut our meal short, especially since the background music was making it hard to talk.

The meal (salads) was good. However, the wait was very long; about 45 minutes for two salads, and in the end we didn't have dessert because the wait was too long. A shame.

On holiday near Mende, we were looking for a restaurant that was showing the France semi-final match. We called the same day to make a reservation for nine people, including a dog and a stroller. The initial contact over the phone was excellent, and upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome. We discovered a room hidden in the hold of the boat (where it was pleasantly cool despite the sweltering heat outside). There were games for the children, including a chalkboard, small chairs, and books—everything to keep them entertained. The waiters seated us in this room, which had a giant screen showing the match; it was perfect. As for the meal, I highly recommend trying the homemade cocktails—they're delicious! The rest of the meal was just as delightful. The burgers were original, generously filled, and incredibly tasty! The homemade desserts were equally excellent. The waiters were very pleasant from beginning to end. We will definitely be back!

A pleasant place, very good food, and plenty of it. Very well located. The owner is friendly and sells his products very well.

The food was very good, with generous portions served hot and quickly. The service was friendly. However, the terrace and the interior of the restaurant were dirty. None of the women's restroom doors closed properly. It's a real shame.

Pleasant setting opposite the cathedral. Friendly welcome and quick service. Varied menu at reasonable prices. Good value for money.

Located right next to the cathedral, with a shady outdoor area. The service was super friendly. The food was quite tasty; the salad was fresh, the mushroom omelet was delicious, and the fries were a bit too dark, but okay.
