Du Vignoble au Verre sur Calais

I recently discovered a restaurant that completely won me over. From the first dishes, presented in a mini casserole dish, I was amazed by the succulent flavors. Each bite revealed the know-how and passion of the restaurateur, which is felt at every moment. The welcome is exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. As for wines, the selection is simply excellent, perfectly in harmony with the dishes. The value for money is impeccable, with generous portions that will satisfy even the most gourmands. Special mention for the homemade foie gras, absolutely crazy. It was delicious, melting. The blueberry-speculos gratin dessert ends the meal in style. Real explosions of flavors. This restaurant is a perfect example of those who take care of even the smallest details, and that makes all the difference. The hot plate? Amazing. THANKS. The decor is perfect with the setting. All these empty bottles seem to tell a story. A big congratulations for the energy and passion that shines through in every plate. Congratulations to the chef. The person, the boss, in the dining room was all alone, what courage to serve so many tables! To recommend without hesitation!

Great address, you really have to try Very good value for money

The dishes were very good and the dinner went well. We just regret not having known that the accompaniment to one of the dishes was sold out. But restaurant to try even with family.

If you go to Calais, you absolutely have to eat there! They are super welcoming and the food is really good.

Thank you, friendly welcome and controlled bottle culture 👍 In addition, I was unwell the evening we sat down at the end of our evening. Eric was understanding and adorable about my condition... Doggy bag and bottle under my arm when leaving, I had lost neither the meal nor the wine 😉 In short, simple but good cuisine and a more than comfortable choice of wines at more than reasonable prices. Good Calais address, I would go back 🙏🏻👍

This is our favourite Calais restaurant. Delicious, imaginative cooking, sensibly small and changing menu, fascinating wines which Eric will carefully match to your chosen dish. It has a lovely atmosphere - it's always been busy when we are there and the 'Complet' sign is generally in the window very soon after opening. I am still trying (unsuccessfully) to replicate the sauce in the fish nage we had last week. Yum!

Notre restaurant préféré à Calais. Cuisine savoureuse, excellentes sauces et plats mijotés. Eric est toujours un bon conseil pour les vins. Meilleur restaurant qualité/prix de Calais sans hésitation! Chaque fois qu'on va à Calais on y va, toujours contents!
