Located directly opposite the castle, with a lovely view from the terrace. A reasonably priced menu. There was a bit of a wait between courses, but the food was excellent.

While in Caen, we ate at this restaurant, an address you absolutely must add to your favorites!! The food is excellent, very good value for money! Nice sunny terrace with an awning if needed 😁 Warm and friendly welcome, super nice servers.
And yes, boss, a beer is more enjoyable in a stemmed glass 😉 See you soon, on our next trip to Caen!

Far too expensive for what it is. Appalling service. We arrived as a party of four at 7:30 pm and some dishes were already sold out... "We only had two left!" Appalling!

It's always a pleasure to go to El Olivo, a restaurant I've been visiting for a few years now. It's easy to get to, warm, and beautifully decorated. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, the cuisine delicious, and the service quick. See you soon! ☺️
