Elizabeth's sur Lille

A great spot to stop for a coffee, tea, or a treat. The welcome is really warm, and the space is surprisingly airy for Old Lille.

Excellent pastries and well-prepared drinks. The place is a victim of its own success at certain times; it's difficult to find a seat.

The cakes are heavenly. The best one was the Banoffee Pie! We tried their carrot cake and cheesecake and they're also good but it's less sweet. The cafe is nicely decorated and there are enough seats inside to accomodate groups. However, the line to enter gets long. We had to wait for almost and hour to be seated.

My favorite tea room in Lille. The drinks are delicious, the pastries are divine (especially the banoffee). The atmosphere is very pleasant, particularly during the week. I love it.

I loved it! This is the second time I've come with a friend, and it's just as good as always! The pastries are simply delicious and served with a smile! ☺️

Everything is homemade. Prices are reasonable. It's a shame the outdoor terrace is small.

Pastries overflowing from the display case, so many choices that I have to come back for more! The food is delicious and well-balanced, homemade and mouthwatering. We had a brookie, a slice of layer cake, and a blueberry cruffin—everything was scrumptious. The coffee was perfect, hot and tasty. The service and welcome were also very pleasant, with smiles and a touch of humor.

For several years now, whenever we come to Lille, we make a point of stopping by Elizabeth's around 3 or 4 pm. It's a must because we love the cozy atmosphere, the delicious variety of cakes, and the equally delicious drinks (hot chocolates, lemonades). The staff is incredibly friendly. It's a truly relaxing and indulgent experience that you can enjoy at a reasonable price in the bustling city center of Lille. Sometimes a victim of its own success, the small size of the place, which has its own charm, means there are relatively few seats (a few tables on the ground floor, in the basement, and upstairs), and sometimes you might have to wait for a table to become available (takeout is possible, of course, but for us tourists, it's not really feasible). The only minor drawback: they don't have mint tea, shocking! There are plenty of other teas, but they're not to my liking (mintman power here!!). A real treat, as always. Thank you for offering us these welcome moments of respite when we visit Lille!
