Emilie and the Cool Kids sur Lille

A well deserved 5 Stars for the Emilie & the cool kids team in Lille. The girl who looked after us spoke perfect English and was very friendly. The full story is we went there looking for French crepes (they don't serve them if you're wondering - Bagel / United States style menu); she was very friendly and made recommendations on where to go, but despite roaming around the area, we came back to Emilie's as we weren't convinced by nothing else. Staff got an extra chair and managed to seat us out as it was a sunny morning and had two great bagels. Full transparency: price/quantity ratio is a bit low, but food was good and staff fantastic, so worth it.

On adore l’ambiance et le rapport qualité prix ! Je recommande ce brunch bien copieux et excellent. Bien plus « qu’Instagramable », ici, les produits et jus sont frais ! Les desserts y sont généreux et gourmands, on y sort en général avec un doggy bag bien rempli pour le goûter de l’après midi ! Mention spéciale pour l’adaptabilité du personnel face aux différents régimes (fromage frais remplacé par du pesti par exemple) J’y retourne et y retournerai encore !

We went here on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was very busy but we got a table. Service was lovely quick considering the number of customers and friendly. We had a bagel and pancakes, my husband had a hot chocolate and I had a Nutellacino both were great. Food was tasty. We would definitely come back and recommend to others. The decor inside is very cool and quirky.
