A small bistro I stumbled upon during a stroll through the historic center of Vannes. Simple yet beautifully presented dishes, mostly vegetarian. Emphasis on organic and PGI products, excellent whole-grain bread. Everything was very good and fresh. The zucchini quiche was special, as were the side salads topped with seeds and a honey vinaigrette.

A fantastic spot for fresh and local food! We arrived without a reservation for lunch and we were greeted warmly by the staff. My wife and I had the fish catch of the day and our daughter had the broccoli and smoked fish quiche. It was all delicous! Helpful things to know: -friendly to children -chef-owned and local ingredients -staff was sweet to us when I spoke in basic French and spoke English with us -Two lunches, one quiche and an entree, plus two ciders and ice cream and coffee came to 65€ and we were full! I will return when we come back to Vannes!!!

Super sweet little gem on a small square. The food was delicious. We had a perfect quiche and a plat du jour, which turned out to be a delicious fish with quinoa and a range of veggies. The desserts were out of this world. The home made drinks refreshing. And all this for an unbeatable price.

18/07/2026: Last week we discovered La Tête en l’air. It’s a beautiful establishment where the very name of the restaurant evokes a feeling of complete relaxation. It was an excellent culinary discovery. All the senses are awakened. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. The pace of the tasting is perfect, and we didn't notice the time passing. Thank you to the chef, the cooks/pastry chefs, the service staff… for this wonderful discovery, for your attentiveness, and for your discretion. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment ;)

05/09/2026: We particularly enjoyed the "Blue Lobster Menu" dinner on August 29, 2026. Indeed, beyond the various preparations of lobster in all its forms, this menu was exquisitely refined, combining flavor and originality with subtlety. Using Breton lobster was a real challenge, and the chef succeeded once again. The entire experience took place in a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with excellent wine recommendations. Thank you to the whole team.
05/09/2026: Review left after several visits! Still as good as ever! Different flavors, top-notch service. We tried it for lunch first, a success! It's even better in the evening.
