I ate at this restaurant for the first time 10 years ago. The food is still excellent. The presentation of the dishes is meticulous. The service and staff are top-notch. Very good value for money. I recommend it 200%.

I absolutely loved this restaurant and must try it if you're ever in Bergerac. The food is superb, and the service is both friendly and humorous. Be sure to book in advance, as tables fill up quickly!

Read really good reviews so wanted to try. Went at 12:00 when it opened. No seats taken but our group of 3 sat round the corner down side lane as front as only for couples even though table for four set up. No one else came during the whole meal. Waiter was friendly but kept insisting on speaking English even though we had a fluent French speaker doing all the talking. Food was good and set menu was 29euros for 3 courses, most of which were fabulous sounding. Settled on mackerel starter and boar for mains. Pudding was tiramisu but mainly cream and slight coffee taste. Overall, probably wouldn’t come back as loads of other possibilities but really happy to have tried it. Just was lacking ‘something’.

A fantastic restaurant we stumbled upon during our stroll through Bergerac. We thoroughly enjoyed the pig's trotters, a truly tender cut of beef. Impeccable welcome and service. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

05/08/2026: A truly wonderful place, the menu is superb and the portions are generous! The only slight drawback was the relatively long wait… so don't plan anything too close to the start of service. But the main thing is there: top-notch food and very friendly waiters/waitresses!
03/08/2026: Beautiful setting. The food was very, very good. The wait was far too long—an hour and a half just for the starter and main course. Luckily, the restaurant had few tables. We cancelled our dessert order. One of the very kind waitresses apologized, however, she clearly wasn't our assigned waitress. Ours was texting in the dining room in front of the other customers while she was clearing tables! Either she had a personal problem or she was incompetent. We have mixed feelings about the excellent food but the disastrous service. We asked for our child's dessert at the register and got it to go (the crepe was very good).
