The owner gave us a fantastic welcome and we chatted about motorcycles during our break on our Paris-Dakar road trip.
We had a delicious meal (lamb confit with mashed potatoes and steak tartare with potato gratin). The service was also perfect 👌

It's a typically French place in the center of Bergerac. I loved their set menu (€26), especially the boiled eggs and the grilled duck. It has a very unusual bathroom.

Good restaurant, however, I was a little disappointed by the egg starter as the white wasn't cooked enough. The rest was good. The price of coffee is far too high compared to all the other restaurants in Bergerac.

An excellent find, discovered somewhat by chance based on customer reviews. Very, very good value for money for such delicious and flavorful cuisine: we tried the "perfect egg" with trout and foie gras (a real treat, the balance was truly perfect), the beef, and the duck breast with gingerbread sauce (the meat was incredibly tender). For dessert, a truly homemade crème brûlée 😉. Add to that a welcoming and efficient service, even though there was only one person working in the dining room... A cozy atmosphere. In short, we definitely got our money's worth, and we'll be back 😄
