The cook/waitress duo is perfect. A warm welcome, with a clear desire to offer more than just good food: to ensure a pleasant experience. It succeeds. We dined surrounded by the likes of Bourvil, Fernandel, Brel, Blier, Ventura… No doubt, these artists would have loved this place. A decorative element suggests: the cuisine is home-style and the comforts are modern. That's only half true… the food is indeed home-style, delicious, and homemade. The comfort is dated, as is the decor. Don't be fooled: that's a compliment. I'll be back.

Very good little restaurant for lunch, friendly service and generous food

On the road to Vienna, there are many pizzerias, kebab shops, and chicken restaurants of all kinds, but one restaurant stands out from the crowd: welcoming, conversational, daily specials. Today, everything was good, and we finished with a homemade chocolate mousse. A real treat... good little restaurants still exist... phew... Christian and his son Julian (he loved it too at 6)

A real favorite! I discovered Chez Comet' in Vénissieux and I must say the experience was perfect from start to finish. The welcome is warm, you immediately feel at ease, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to come back. The dishes are generous, tasty, and prepared with quality ingredients.
