It doesn't look like much, a small restaurant open at lunchtime for locals or those who work there, but the food is amazing! Two daily specials to choose from, traditional recipes, all homemade by Laurent in the kitchen, even the sauerkraut or the crème brûlée (to die for)!

A wonderful experience at this restaurant, where seating is limited and the food is excellent. Reservations recommended one day in advance.

The cook/waitress duo is perfect. A warm welcome, with a clear desire to offer more than just good food: to ensure a pleasant experience. It succeeds. We dined surrounded by the likes of Bourvil, Fernandel, Brel, Blier, Ventura… No doubt, these artists would have loved this place. A decorative element suggests: the cuisine is home-style and the comforts are modern. That's only half true… the food is indeed home-style, delicious, and homemade. The comfort is dated, as is the decor. Don't be fooled: that's a compliment. I'll be back.

Phew! We can eat vegetables in Venissieux! The only decent restaurant in the neighborhood with a varied menu, and it's also very good! Beautifully presented dishes, attentive service, and even the house wine is excellent! Thank you for existing!
