We had a wonderful time at Essentiel restaurant. The food was delicious and refined. I especially loved the mascarpone and tomato panna cotta. It was divine! 🤩 The service was also perfect! And a special mention for the little candle they brought on the sweet treats for my partner's birthday! It was a lovely moment, thank you!

There were five of us, and we enjoyed the delicious food from the aperitif to the shared dessert. We also loved the setting on the terrace overlooking the Canal Saint-Martin, which provided a refreshing breeze 🦋🙌 A must-try, everything is delicious ♥️

08/08/2026: I went there for a company meal. I'm a little ambivalent about the quality/quantity of the food. Otherwise, the service was excellent. A quiet restaurant on a lovely little street in Rennes.
08/08/2026: We had dinner at Café Bretón and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. We shared the melon tartare with Iberian ham and stracciatella, the salmon fillet, the boneless chicken, and for dessert, the cheese board. The dishes were different from the usual fare in the area, the ingredients were excellent, and the staff was lovely. I would definitely return; 100% recommended.
