Essentiel sur Rennes

We received a very warm welcome; the waiter was attentive and professional. The upstairs dining area is lovely, with a large bay window overlooking the Vilaine River. The gourmet menu was beautifully presented, featuring high-quality ingredients. The children's menu was excellent and plentiful, which delighted my boys. The amuse-bouches and petits fours were also very much appreciated. A big thank you!

A wonderful discovery at Essentiel. We were captivated by the originality of the Marbled Foie Gras with Cocoa, a combination as surprising as it was successful. As for the main courses, the delicate Pollack and the absolute tenderness of the 7-hour Lamb Shoulder (carved tableside) demonstrate culinary mastery. A huge congratulations to the front-of-house team: it's a real pleasure to see such young, dynamic, professional, and passionate staff. Thank you for this gastronomic experience; we will gladly return.
